Characteristics

wb800

Description
The PDE bearing, with or without flange, is primarily intended for slow radial and axial motions with moderate loading and where there is no effective lubrication. The PDE bearing therefore has its greatest area of application with oscillatory or slow reciprocating motions. Thanks to the fact that the static and dynamic friction is almost equal, a suitable bearing is obtained for situations where continual changes in loading and motion occur.

The flange design ensures that axial loading can also be supported PDE is a bearing material with very good characteristics, including dimensional stability and practically no water uptake. The standard bearings have the same installation dimensions as the rolled slide bearings.

Lubrication
The PDE compound bearing includes lubricant. Therefore, in principle they can be used with one-time lubrication. Additional lubrication is recommended to protect the shaft against corrosion. Additional lubrication should be introduced through the shaft openings or radially via the housing. All the normal lubricating greases can be used. Greases with additives of graphite or molybdenum disulphide should be avoided.
Tolerance
Bearings pressed in to a H7 seat give a tolerance of F10.
Recommended shaft tolerance h9-h7.

Special Designs
Only larger series.
• Infinite material combinations, which can give unique characteristics for special designs
• Internal and external lubricating grooves
• Slide bearings with integrated seals
• Other tolerance positions
• Spherical and plane washers
