Characteristics

|
Description
PPS is a material that tolerates high loads, which is price worthy when it is compared with PEEK. A high E modulus, a high pv value and low moisture up take contribute to this material’s great usability.
|
Lubrication
The compound bearing contains lubricant. Therefore, in principle they can be used with one-time lubrication. Additional lubrication is recommended to protect the shaft against corrosion. Additional lubrication should be introduced through the shaft openings or radially via the housing. All the normal lubricating greases can be used. Greases with additives of graphite or molybdenum disulphide should be avoided. |
Tolerance
Bearings pressed in to a H7 seat give a tolerance of F10. Recommended shaft tolerance h9-h7. |
Special Designs
Only larger series.
• Infinite material combinations, which can give unique characteristics for special designs
• Internal and external lubricating grooves
• Slide bearings with integrated seals
• Other tolerance positions
• Spherical and plane washers
