Characteristics
Description The WICO/WICO63 bearing is primarily intended for slow radial and axial motions with relatively high loads as well as where effective lubrication does not occur. The WICO/WICO63 therefore has its greatest area of use with oscillatory or slow reciprocating motions.
Thanks to the fact that the static and dynamic friction is almost equal, a bearing is obtained, that is suitable for situations where continual changes in loading and motion occur e.g. in link arms and piston rod guides. The thin layer that constitutes the bearing’s surface, should be well protected to avoid damage during assembly and from heat e.g. from welding.
Lubrication Tillsatssmörjning bör ske genom axeltapparna eller radiellt genom lagersätena. Alla vanligen förekommande smörjfetter kan användas, dock bör smörjfetter med tillsatser av grafit eller molybdendisulfid undvikas. WICO/ WICO63-lagret har goda nödgångsegenskaper och kräver i många fall förhållandevis lite smörjmedel.
Tolerance A bearing pressed in to a H7 seat gives a tolerance of H9.
The recommended shaft tolerance is IT 7 or IT8, tolerance position e or f.
