Examples of typical uses
• Forestry Machinery
• Agricultural Machinery
• Trucks
• Dumpers
• Truck-mounted cranes
• Truck platforms |
Advantages
• Can tolerate high loads and blows
• Works well, even in dirty environments
• The lubrication depots, which go all the way through the bearing surface, give excellent lubricating characteristics
• Good thermal dissipation
• A broad range of dimensions is held in stock
• Extends the interval between lubrications by 6-8 times, compared to traditional slide bearings
• Integral seals

Characteristics

Description
The WB802-T bearing is intended for constructions with radial and axial movement where exceptionally long intervals between lubrications are required. The bearing is rolled from a cold-worked bronze alloy, which gives the bearing exceptional material characteristics.
These bearings are provided with perforations over the entire bearing surface. These act as lubrication reservoirs, which rapidly build up a lubricating film at start-up and thereby reduce the starting friction. The thermoplastic lip seals are located at each end of the bearing. Consequently, contamination and damp is kept out of the bearing housing and all the lubricant is held in place for an exceptionally long time.
The WB802 material properties, together with the rolling and calibration procedure, make this type of bearing especially suitable in constructions where relatively high loads and slow movements occur.

Lubrication
Additional lubrication should be introduced through the shaft openings or radially via the housing. All the normal lubricating greases can be used. Lubricating grease with graphite or molybdenum disulphide additives can also be suitable. |
Tolerance
Bearings pressed in to a H7 housing give a tolerance of H9. The recommended shaft tolerance is IT7 or IT8, tolerance position e or f. |
